    Largest Planned Industrial Construction Project

    During the month of May, our research team identified 20 new General Industrial facility construction projects with an estimated value of $100 million of more.

     The largest project is owned by the United States Department Of Energy, who is planning to invest $5 billion for the renovation and equipment upgrades of their plutonium processing facility at the Savannah River Site in AIKEN, SC. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

      

    Top 10 Tracked Industrial Construction Projects

    Ohio:

    Energy company is investing $1 billion for the construction of an 1100MW natural gas-fired power plant in WELLSVILLE, OH. Construction has recently started, with completion slated for June 2021.

    Texas:

    Steel company is considering investing $2 billion for the construction of a manufacturing facility in BROWNSVILLE, TX. Watch SalesLeads for updates.

    Pennsylvania:

    Co-working laboratory and office space provider is planning to invest $500 million for the renovation of a 1.6 million sf laboratory and office complex in KING OF PRUSSIA, PA. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

    New York:

    Energy company is planning to invest $650 million to convert two existing coal-fired power generation plants to renewable energy powered data centers in LANSING, NY. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

    Texas:

    Energy company is planning to invest $120 million for the construction of a solar plant in BLOOMING GROVE, TX. They have recently received approval for the project.

    Michigan:

    Automotive mfr. is planning to invest $150 million for the renovation and equipment upgrades on their manufacturing facility in FLINT, MI. Completion is slated for early 2020.

    Michigan:

    Utility service provider is planning to invest $478 million for the renovation and equipment upgrades on their power plant in BRIDGMAN, MI. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

    Kentucky:

    Automotive wheels mfr. is planning to invest $112 million for a 270,000 sf expansion and equipment upgrades of their manufacturing facility at 150 Wheat Dr. in PARIS, KY. They have recently received approval for the project. Completion is slated for July 2021.

    Kansas:

    Real estate development company is planning to invest $125 million for the construction of a 2.7 million sf warehouse and logistics complex on the Turner Diagonal in KANSAS CITY, KS. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

    Idaho:

    Renewable energy company is planning to invest $240 million for the construction of six biogas plants in BURLEY, ID. Completion is slated for late 2020.
