    The largest project is owned by Cattlemen's Heritage, who is planning to invest $325 million for the construction of a processing facility in MILLS COUNTY, IA. Construction is expected to start in Spring 2022, with completion slated for late 2023.

     

    Top 10 Tracked Food and Beverage Projects

    KANSAS:

    Pet food mfr. is planning to invest $250 million for the construction of a processing facility in TONGANOXIE, KS. They are currently seeking approval for the project. Construction is expected to start in Fall 2021, with completion slated for 2023.

    TEXAS:

    Snack food mfr. is planning to invest $200 million for an expansion of their processing facility in ROSENBERG, TX. They have recently received approval for the project. Completion is slated for late 2023.

    FLORIDA:

    Foodservice distributor is planning to invest $55 million for the construction of a 427,000 sf distribution center on Becker Rd. in PORT ST. LUCIE, FL. Construction is expected to start in early 2022, with completion slated for Summer 2023.

    ONTARIO:

    Ice cream mfr. is planning to invest $41 million for the expansion of their processing facility on Wilton Grove Rd. in LONDON, ON by 27,000 sf. Construction is expected to start in Fall 2021, with completion slated for 2023.

    WISCONSIN:

    Specialized ingredient processing mfr. is planning to invest $30 million for the construction of a 75,000 sf warehouse and manufacturing facility on Colley Rd. in BELOIT, WI. They have recently received approval for the project.

    PENNSYLVANIA:

    Specialty bakery products mfr. is planning for the expansion of their processing facility in HERMITAGE, PA by 200,000 sf. They are currently seeking approval for the project. The project also includes a 3,000 sf expansion of their warehouse and cone processing facility at the same location.

    MASSACHUSETTS:

    Cooking oil processing company is planning to invest $14 million for the expansion of their processing facility in AYER, MA by 52,000 sf. They have recently received approval for the project.

    INDIANA:

    Specialty food products mfr. is planning to invest $13 million for the renovation and equipment upgrades on a recently leased 90,000 sf processing facility in MERRILLVILLE, IN. Completion is slated for Fall 2021.

    MICHIGAN:

    Snack food mfr. is planning for the renovation of a 24,000 sf office, warehouse, and processing facility in TRAVERSE CITY, MI. They will relocate operations upon completion in Fall 2021. The site allows for a future 40,000 sf expansion.

    OHIO:

    Hydroponic produce company is expanding and planning for the renovation of 20,000 sf of warehouse space at 870 Hanover St. in HAMILTON, OH. They are currently seeking approval for the project.
