    Industrial SalesLeads announced today the July 2024 results for the new planned capital project spending report for the Distribution and Supply Chain industry. The Firm tracks North American planned industrial capital project activity; including facility expansions, new plant construction and significant equipment modernization projects. Research confirms 177 new projects in the Distribution and Supply Chain sector, compared to 246 in June and 186 in May.

    Largest Planned Project

    During the month of July, our research team identified 5 new Distribution and Supply Chain facility construction projects with an estimated value of $100 million or more. 

    The largest project is owned by LS GreenLink USA, Inc., who is planning to invest $681 million for the construction of a 750,000 sf manufacturing and warehouse facility at 1213 Victory Blvd. in CHESAPEAKE, VA. Construction is expected to start in early 2025, with completion slated for early 2028.

    Top 10 Tracked Distribution and Supply Chain Project Opportunities 

    North Carolina:

    Medical device mfr. is planning to invest $400 million for the construction of a 550,000 sf manufacturing, warehouse, office, and training campus at 1911 Old Creek Road in GREENVILLE, NC. Construction is expected to start in Fall 2024, with completion slated for late 2026

    Georgia:

    Bathroom fixture mfr. is planning to invest $238 million for the expansion and equipment upgrades on their manufacturing and warehouse facility in MORROW, GA. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

    New Jersey:

    Global retail chain is planning for the construction of a 700,000 sf distribution center on Pointers Auburn Rd. in PILESGROVE, NJ. Completion is slated for 2027.

    New York:

    Military agency is planning to invest $100 million for the renovation and equipment upgrades on their warehouse, office, and training center on Lexington Ave. in NEW YORK, NY. They have recently received approval for the project.

    Pennsylvania:

    Motorcycle mfr. is planning to invest $89 million for the expansion, renovation, and equipment upgrades on their manufacturing and warehouse facility in YORK, PA. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

    California:

    Municipality is planning to invest $65 million for the construction of a warehouse, vehicle maintenance, and office campus on Sheila St. in COMMERCE, CA. They are currently seeking approval for the project and will relocate their operations upon completion.

    Indiana:

    Home furnishing retailer is planning to invest $62 million for the construction of a 600,000 sf distribution center on Perry Worth Rd. in WHITESTOWN, IN. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

    Tennessee:

    Plumbing equipment mfr. Is planning to invest $53 million for the construction of a manufacturing and warehouse facility in BRISTOL, TN. They have recently received approval for the project. They will relocate their operations upon completion.

    Texas:

    Food service distributor is planning to invest $42 million for the construction of a distribution facility on Ronald W. Reagan Blvd. in JARRELL, TX. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

    Michigan:

    Biotechnology food safety company is planning to invest $38 million for the construction of a 35,000 sf processing and warehouse facility at 720 E. Shiawassee St. in LANSING, MI. The project includes the renovation of a 20,000 sf warehouse and office facility at 703 E. Michigan Ave. in LANSING, MI.
