During the month of June, our research team identified 31 new General Industrial facility construction projects with an estimated value of $100 million or more. 

The largest project is owned by Metropolitan Water District Of Southern California, who is planning to invest $8 billion for the construction of a wastewater treatment processing plant in CARSON, CA. They are currently seeking approval for the project. Construction is expected to start in 2026, with completion slated for 2032.

Pharmaceutical company is planning to invest $5 billion for an expansion of their processing facility in LEBANON, IN. They are currently seeking approval for the project. Completion is slated for 2028.

MISSISSIPPI:

EV battery mfr. is planning to invest $2 billion for the construction of a manufacturing facility in MARSHALL COUNTY, MS. They have recently received approval for the project. Completion is slated for 2027.

NORTH CAROLINA:

Pharmaceutical company is planning to invest $1.5 billion for the expansion of their processing facility in CLAYTON, NC. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

TEXAS:

Municipality is planning to invest $1 billion for the expansion, renovation, and equipment upgrades on their wastewater treatment processing plant in AUSTIN, TX. They are currently seeking approval for the project. Construction is expected to start in 2025.

MISSISSIPPI:

Renewable energy company is planning to invest $700 million for the construction of a 396 MW solar farm in HINDS COUNTY, MS. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

LOUISIANA:

Carbon capture solution provider is planning to invest $475 million for the construction of a processing facility at Port of Caddo-Bossier in SHREVEPORT, LA. Construction is expected to start in late 2024, with completion slated for 2026.

NORTH CAROLINA:

Department store chain is planning to invest $450 million for the construction of a 1.7 million sf distribution center in RANDLEMAN, NC. They have recently received approval for the project.

FLORIDA:

Beverage company is planning to invest $420 million for the construction of a 1.4 million sf processing and distribution facility at 3935 Intermodal Dr. in WINTER HAVEN, FL. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

 SOUTH DAKOTA:

Electric utility service provider is planning to invest $354 million for the construction of a 145 MW power plant in TORONTO, SD. They are currently seeking approval for the project. Construction is expected to start in Spring 2027, with completion slated for Spring 2029.

 ALABAMA:

Beverage company is planning to invest $330 million for the construction of a 450,000 sf processing facility at 40th St. N in BIRMINGHAM, AL. They are currently seeking approval for the project. Construction is expected to start in early 2025, with completion slated for 2028.
