The company monitors industrial capital projects across North America, covering facility expansions, new plant construction, and major equipment upgrades. Research confirms 203 new projects in the Distribution and Supply Chain sector.

    Largest Planned Project

    During the month of January, our research team identified 6 new Distribution and Supply Chain facility construction projects with an estimated value of $100 million or more. 

    The largest project is owned by Nucor Corp, who is investing an additional $800 million for the expansion of their currently under-construction manufacturing facility in APPLE GROVE, WV. The project includes the construction of a warehouse and loading facility in WHEELING, WV. Completion is slated for late 2026.

    Top 10 Tracked Distribution and Supply Chain Project Opportunities

    Florida:

    Medical device mfr. is planning to invest $175 million for the construction of a 1-million sf distribution and office facility in FORT MYERS, FL. They are currently seeking approval for the project and will consolidate their operations upon completion.

    Kentucky:

    Beverage distributor is planning to invest $129 million for the construction of a 300,000 sf distribution center and office facility in BOWLING GREEN, KY. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

    Florida:

    Aircraft maintenance service provider is planning to invest $107 million for the construction of a 120,000 sf warehouse and maintenance hangar in PANAMA CITY, FL. The project includes the renovation and equipment upgrade on a 140,000 sf warehouse facility in BAY COUNTY, FL. Completion is slated for 2026.

    Kansas:

    Municipality is planning to invest $55 million for the construction of a 92,000 sf warehouse, storage, and office facility at 2425 E 15th St. in LAWRENCE, KS. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

    Illinois:

    Industrial supplies company is planning to invest $33 million for the renovation and equipment upgrades on an 850,000 sf distribution center in MINOOKA, IL. They are currently seeking approval for the project. Completion is slated for late 2026.

    Michigan:

    EV battery recycling service provider is planning to invest $33 million for the construction of a 116,000 sf warehouse and storage facility in DETROIT, MI. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

    Maryland:

    Kitchen products mfr. is planning for the construction of a 1 million sf distribution center in HAGERSTOWN, MD. They are currently seeking approval for the project. They will relocate their regional operations upon completion in Spring 2026.

    Arizona:

    Logistics service provider is planning for the renovation and equipment upgrades on a recently leased 483,000 sf warehouse facility on Glendale Ave. in GLENDALE, AZ. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

    Connecticut:

    Electric boat mfr. is planning for the construction of a 480,000 sf warehouse at 45 Frontage Rd. in NORTH STONINGTON, CT. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

    Ohio:

    Fitness equipment supplier is planning for a 400,000 sf expansion of their manufacturing and warehouse facility in COLUMBUS, OH. They are currently seeking approval for the project.
