    Largest Planned Industrial Construction Projects in NEW YORK

    During the year 2024, our research team identified 18 industrial construction projects in NEW YORK with an estimated value of $100 million or more. 

    The largest project is owned by Micron Technology Inc., who is planning to invest $100 billion for the construction of a 7.2 million sf manufacturing complex in CLAY, NY. Construction will occur in phases, with completion slated for 2030.  

    Top 10 Tracked Industrial Projects in NEW YORK

    Malta, NY

    Semiconductor mfr. is planning to invest $12 billion for the construction of a 358,000 sf manufacturing facility on their manufacturing campus in MALTA, NY. The project includes the expansion of their existing plant. Construction is expected to start in 2025.

    Niagara, NY

    Global online retailer is planning to invest $550 million for the construction of a 3.1 million sf distribution campus in NIAGARA, NY.

    Buffalo, NY

    EV mfr. is planning to invest $500 million for the expansion of their manufacturing facility in BUFFALO, NY. 

    Canton, NY

    Specialty glass mfr. is planning to invest $347 million for an expansion of their manufacturing facility at 334 Co Rd 16 in CANTON, NY.

    Harriman, NY

    Municipality is planning to invest $200 million for the expansion and equipment upgrades on their wastewater treatment processing plant in HARRIMAN, NY. They are currently seeking approval for the project. Completion is slated for 2028.

    Dunkirk, NY

    Ice-cream mfr. is planning to invest $175 million for a 133,000 sf expansion and equipment upgrades on their processing facility in DUNKIRK, NY. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

    West Seneca, NY

    Dairy cooperative is planning to invest $150 million for the expansion of their processing, warehouse, and office facility at 3300 N. America Dr. in WEST SENECA, NY by 250,000 sf. Completion is slated for late 2026.

    Rochester, NY

    Pharmaceutical company is planning to invest $106 million for a 43,000 sf expansion, renovations, and equipment upgrades on their processing and warehouse facility in ROCHESTER, NY. 

    Rensselaer, NY

    Waste conversion service provider is planning to invest $100 million for the construction of a processing facility in RENSSELAER, NY.

    Suffern, NY

    Biotechnology company is planning to invest $100 million for the renovation of a 235,000 sf laboratory, processing, and office facility at 1 Avon Pl. in SUFFERN, NY.
